Adele taking FIVE YEARS OFF?

Adele has dismissed reports that she is preparing to take a five year break from the music industry.

So that's it, then: Adele is a record breaker. On Sunday night (February 12th) the British singer won a total of six awards, capping an incredible 12 months which have seen her become a global icon.

The heartbreak behind the making of '21' took it's toll, though, and in a recent interview with Vogue the singer admitted that she would like a break. "I am f***ing off for four or five years. If I am constantly working, my relationships fail" she said.

"So at least now I can have enough time to write a happy record. And be in love and be happy. And then I don't know what I'll do" she admitted. "Get married. Have some kids. Plant a nice vegetable patch."

However Adele has immediately rubbished reports that she is set to take a break. Writing on her blog, the singer said: "I’ve a few days off now, and then it’s the Brit Awards here at home and then I’m straight into the studio. BOYYAHH! 5 years? More like 5 days!"

Whitney Houston - Drugs found in the Room?

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office completed its autopsy of Whitney Houston yesterday, and Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said the results … won’t be released for 6 to 8 weeks as they await the completion of the toxicology report. Houston’s body arrived at the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office in the Boyle Heights area of LA 11 hours after she was declared dead at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday. Houston was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her fourth floor hotel room. Speaking at a press conference yesterday, Winter said there’s a security hold on the case so there will be no additional information as far as what was discovered in the room, or any details of that nature, until the ongoing investigation into her death is concluded. Winter confirmed that paramedics performed CPR. There were no signs of trauma and foul play is not suspected.

LORAZEPAM & VALIUM FOUND IN WHITNEY HOUSTON’S HOTEL ROOM

Law enforcement officials found Lorazepam, Valium, and a sleeping medication in Whitney Houston’s hotel room, RadarOnline is reporting. Houston had “a plethora of sedatives including Lorazepam, Valium, Xanax, and a sleeping medication that was found in her hotel room,” a law enforcement source told RadarOnline. The prescription drugs were officially taken into custody by the Beverly Hills Police Department, who is handling the investigation.

BOBBY BROWN BREAKS DOWN IN TEARS AT A CONCERT

The show went on for Bobby Brown Saturday night, but Whitney Houston’s ex husband cried onstage and had to stop several times to compose himself in a heartfelt performance at Landers Center in Southaven, Miss. “First of all, I want to tell you that I love you all. Second, I would like to say, I love you, Whitney. The hardest thing for me to do is to come on this stage,” Brown said while performing a show with New Edition hours after her death. And even though Brown was overcome with emotion, the jam-packed audience supported him throughout the night.

RAY J WAS DENIED ACCESS TO WHITNEY’S HOTEL ROOM

Singer Ray J was reportedly turned away from the Beverly Hilton Hotel by law enforcement Saturday night when he showed up to Whitney Houston’s room. Insiders tell TMZ that Ray J rushed to the scene as soon as he got word aboutHouston’s death, but officials wouldn’t let him into the room.

WHITNEY HOUSTON’S DAUGHTER RUSHED TO HOSPITAL

Yesterday, Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown was rushed to a hospital. Brown, 18, was taken out of the Beverly Hilton — the same hotel where her mother was found unconscious and pronounced dead — on a stretcher yesterday, according to a photo obtained by TMZ. Law enforcement sources told the site that police and fire departments responded to a call for a medical emergency, but would not confirm who was transported to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. According to TMZ, this was her second trip to the hospital after her mother’s passing. She went late Saturday, but not by ambulance, because she was said to be “hysterical, exhausted and inconsolable,” a source tells the site.

One of your FAV TV shows are CANCELLED!

Which one?

ARRGHH. Google Image search defeats me again. I mean:

The show’s Executives David Shore, Katie Jacobs and star Hugh Laurie made the announcement on Wednesday afternoon.

Check out the statement:

After much deliberation, the producers of House M.D. have decided that this season of the show, the 8th, should be the last. By April this year they will have completed 177 episodes, which is about 175 more than anyone expected back in 2004.

The decision to end the show now, or ever, is a painful one, as it risks putting asunder hundreds of close friendships that have developed over the last eight years – but also because the show itself has been a source of great pride to everyone involved…

Since it began, House has aspired to offer a coherent and satisfying world in which everlasting human questions of ethics and emotion, logic and truth, could be examined, played out, and occasionally answered. This sounds like fancy talk, but it really isn’t. House has, in its time, intrigued audiences around the world in vast numbers, and has shown that there is a strong appetite for television drama that relies on more than prettiness or gun play.

But now that time is drawing to a close. The producers have always imagined House as an enigmatic creature; he should never be the last one to leave the party. How much better to disappear before the music stops, while there is still some promise and mystique in the air.

The producers can never sufficiently express their gratitude to the hundreds of dedicated artists and technicians who have given so generously of their energy and talent to make House the show it has been — and perhaps will continue to be for some time, on one cable network or another.

The makers of House would also like to thank Fox Broadcasting and Universal Television for supporting the show with patience, imagination and large quantities of good taste. The Studio-As-Evil-Adversary is one of the many clichés that House has managed to avoid, and for that the cast and crew are deeply grateful.

Lastly, the audience: some have come and some have gone, obviously. This is to be expected in the life of any show. But over the course of the last eight years, the producers of House have felt immensely honored to be the subject of such close attention by an intelligent, discriminating, humane and thoughtful — not to mention numerous — audience. Even the show’s detractors have been flattering in their way. Making the show has felt like a lively and passionate discussion about as many different subjects as could possibly be raised in 177 hours. The devotion and generosity of our viewers has been marvelous to behold.

So, finally, everyone at House will bid farewell to the audience and to each other with more than a few tears, but also with a deep feeling of gratitude for the grand adventure they have been privileged to enjoy for the last eight years. If the show lives on somewhere, with somebody, as a fond memory, then that is a precious feat, of which we will always be proud.

At least 1 in 5 Canadians will suffer from mental illness in their lifetimes, but the unfortunate reality is that most won’t seek treatment because of the continuing stigma around the disease.

Bell Let’s Talk Day sends the message to those who struggle with mental illness that Canadians want to listen and we want to help,” said George Cope, President and CEO of Bell Canada and BCE.

Do you know someone that is having a struggle with depression? Anxiety? Talk to them - Let them know that it's okay for THEM to talk about!

You can also do your part by just txting friends! For every text message sent and every long distance call made by Bell and Bell Aliant customers, Bell will donate 5 cents to mental health programs.

GaGa's New Tour Details - AMAZING

There it is ... The GaGa Tour Poster!

Gaga has yet to announce her 2012 concert dates, but she has been hard at work preparing the gigs and recently vowed they will be “bigger and better than ever.”

In a series of posts on Twitter, she writes, “To give you a bit of insight on the design of my new tour, the central area within the stage will be known as The Monster Pit. The Monster Pit is General Admission only, and Little Monsters unlock it when they arrive to the arena or stadium. Entry to The Monster Pit is relegated (sic) to the fans who have arrived first, waited all night, (and) dressed to ‘Ball.’ Every night Haus of Gaga will choose fans from The Monster Pit to come back stage (and) meet me! These tickets are not more expensive. No dress code requirement. Born This Way means anything goes.”

Very cool.
